Host
Matt Rodewald joined The Score as an anchor and fill-in host in January 2008 and has been covering everything from Bulls basketball to high school hoops on the Chicago radio scene for more than five years.
Additionally, Matt also can be seen weekday mornings as the Traffic and Transportation Reporter on NBC 5 News Today.
Growing up in the far west suburbs, he played football, ran track and helped coach basketball at Geneva High School. Prior to returning to Chicago, Matt wore many hats as the morning anchor, play-by-play announcer, and host for ESPN radio in Indianapolis.
Matt is an Indiana University graduate, with a degree from School of Journalism and a minor from the Kelly School of Business. He served as an award-winning Sports Director at WIUS radio and Region Editor for the Indiana Daily Student. It'll be hard to find a bigger Hoosier Basketball fan! (minus the whole Kelvin Sampson thing)
Matt has also contributed to the Chicago Tribune and the Comcast Network (CN 100) and provided play-by-play for WKRS and WBIG. Plus, he's also anchored traffic reports for CLTV and a variety of radio stations in Chicago.
