I probably was destined to get into sports broadcasting from the time I left my Mother's womb. I actually attended the "59" World Series when I was still in diapers and am thankful that I got a chance to see another one before my brain went to mush. My thanks to Jerry Reinsdorf, Kenny Williams, Ozzie Guillen, the coaches and players for that great thrill.
I've also had the fortune to cover all of the Bull's championships and witness (close up) the greatest athlete I'll ever hope to see, Michael Jordan. He was truly one of a kind. The old saying is true in regards to Jordan....."Often imitated but never duplicated".
I have been at the WSCR for almost six years now and besides the above events there have been ups and downs with the Cubs, Bears and Blackhawks and numerous collegiate games. I have the best seat in the house and never tire of it.
Grew up in the northern suburbs and played ball seemingly around the clock. I still feel like a kid when I'm shooting hoops or in a batting cage. I hope I always will.
Have two children and they are the loves of my life.
