A self proclaimed sports radio geek. I began my radio career in Winona Minnesota in 1984 at Winona State University. After working for the commercial station in Winona(KWNO-AM) I came to WGN-AM in 1988 and worked a couple talk shows and sports. After WGN I walked down Michigan avenue to work for The Loop. At the time the coolest station in Chicago with the best talk show personalities. It was a dream job, I use to call it High School with Money.
After working at the AM/FM Loop I ventured into the minor league basketball business for a year and half, I like to say we learn from our mistakes. I then had the opportunity to commute from New York for 8 months and launch a Dance station, WKTU-FM, it was a great opportunity, we went from worst to first in one rating book. I then returned from New York and went to WMVP-AM and stayed there for nine years. The station went from sports to AM talk back to sports. It was a great journey with terrific people. After WMVP-AM I went into the talent representation business for a little while. I enjoyed it, but I missed the pure radio business.
I've been at the Score since March 2005. I love it here, great personalities, terrific people to work with. I'm in a dream job and enjoying every day! I grew up in Skokie, but now live on the Southside of Chicago in the Beverly Neighborhood.
