Doug Buffone

Doug Buffone was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the fourth round of the 1966 draft after attending the University of Louisville. Doug played 14 seasons as a Chicago Bear, from 1966 through 1980, making him the last Bears player to play under head coach George Halas. During the '72-'79 seasons Doug was the Defensive Captain for the Bears.

Buffone went on to become one of the founders of Arena Football with company president Kevin Yahl. An entrepreneur, Buffone purchased and owned several Chicago area restaurants including Gibson's Steakhouse. Not content to be just a businessman, Buffone has also had an impressive 14 year career providing sports commentary as the host of the Doug Buffone on FOX Sports Net as well as one of the top radio shows for seventeen years on The Score. He currently serves as the Vice President of Digital One, maker of ClickStreamTV.
