Since graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May of 2007, where he covered the 2006 NCAA Men's hockey championship team (one that consisted of Blackhawks Adam Burish, Jack Skille and Jake Dowell) Connor McKnight has worked in Sports Media in one way or another.
Immediately after graduating he spent the better part of four months working for the dot-com side of College Sports Television. He and a partner cruised the west coast in a rented Chevy covering an NCAA game every weekend plus three weeks of bowl games and a National Championship. Between games it was interviews with athletes like Oregon's Dennis Dixon and Hawaii's Colt Brennan, checking out tailgates, hanging with mascots and even wrangling a trip to Vegas--to cover UNLV, of course.
Connor also spent a summer working in Minor League baseball and seeing the best the Carolina League has to offer. Most recently he finished an internship with Comcast Sportsnet in Chicago where he worked on their nightly news show, SportsNite.
