Brian has worked on the radio in Chicago since 1994, and until 2005, he was known as "The Whipping Boy" on various Chicago FM music stations, for reasons that he no longer remembers. At some point in the past decade-plus, you may have heard Brian working solo, or with partners such as Sludge, Freak, Pete McMurray, Brooke & Jill, Wendy & Bill, or, from '98 to 2001, as a member of the Mancow Show.
Brian's sports background extends back to his days at the University of Illinois, where he covered all sports as the sports director at WPGU-FM. (He even claims to have once stood in Lou Henson's living room.) He joined The Score in 2006, at which time he was bestowed the nickname "King Paruch" by Terry Boers of Boers & Bernstein. Brian was born in Blue Island, grew up in Roselle, and now lives on the North Side with his wife Stacy, daughter Victoria Isabelle, and dog, Tiny.
